PLEASE read our ride request policies/instructions before making a request at the bottom of the page

When you make a request, you will receive a text message/email confirmation if this request is approved. We try to approve or decline requests within 1 hr of the request, if done between 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.

All confirmation texts and emails provide you with a link to pay online. All rides must be paid for no later than 24 hours before the ride.

To be eligible to ride with us, clients must—

  • not have anything viral or physically contagious to our drivers

  • be able to sit straight up in their seat, or wheelchair (we cannot transport clients who need to use a hoyer lift to get in and out of their wheelchair, unless they have a long track record of being able to stay sitting up in their chair, and have not declined in physical health recently).

  • if using a wheelchair, be 300 lbs or under

  • if using a wheelchair, have a wheelchair that does not exceed 32inches wide, wheel to wheel

  • if using a wheelchair, have wheelchair access in and out of their home, free of steps

  • if ambulatory, be able to get themselves in and out of our front seat using a small stool

  • have paid for their ride in advance.

Cancellations must be done 24 hours before the ride to avoid a 50% cancellation fee.

If you are an organization like a hospital or rehab facility requesting a ride on someone’s behalf, clients must understand and agree to the total cost of the ride, and agree to all of our payment policies.

We cannot make a claim to your insurance provider for you.  If your provider does cover non-emergency medical transportation, our detailed receipt to you after service is completed will provide all the information you need to make a claim yourself.  If you are expecting Medicaid to pay for your transport, you must arrange it through Community in Motion at 360-694-6577.
